Turf and Boards celebrated its 3rd birthday on April 9. Something that started on a whim in 2017 has become, dare I say, a respected resource for news and opinions, with such well-read recurring features as the Top 40 Free Agent List, Power Rankings, and the Boards Awards (currently under way), as well as news, game stories, and feature articles.

This is the 468th post in three years. Last year (2019) we saw a record 42,827 visitors and 76,912 page views.

We welcomed Nick Episcopo and Nathan Dunn to our list of contributors. I was honored to have Nathan, Craig Elsten, and Art Kramer take part in our Boards Awards panel.

We saw two former writers launch their own webcasts, Matt Huber’s In the Box, and Greg Suttie’s Time Out with Suttie on Soccer.

Hopefully, this world health crisis will be over soon and we can all get together again and fill the arenas.
